Shot Count Analysis: Mayday Parade- Miserable At Best

I chose this song as it is by the same band as the song I am thinking of doing for my Final Music Video. The song also has a similar style.
There were 75 cuts used in this song (Though many shots were repeated) That equals to every shot lasting 2.8 seconds. There's a lot more cuts than I thought but as many of the shots were the same, just as different times, it would not take 75 different takes to get all the shots.

Number of shots in 30(ish) second segment: 14

Within the 30 second segment there are:
Number of CU: 8
Number of ECU: 0
Number of LS: 2
Number of MS: 4
Number of panning shots: 1
Number of tilts: 1
Other shots: Over the Shoulder/ Moving backwards

Analysis - what have you learnt from this process?
I have learnt that there doesn't have to be a lot of different types of shots, as long as they are broken up and there are many shots of different things and preferably at different angles.
Also, the camera doesn't have to be steady for it to look good, it can add to the effect.
It is good for a narrative to be broken up by lip syncing/ people playing instruments.
